KC URBAN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Elevate Design + Build has launched a second urban redevelopment project in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri. The historic Manheim Park neighborhood nestled between Troost Avenue and The Paseo is getting a facelift this summer. Sixteen vacant lots along Tracy Avenue between 41st Street and 44th Street are the sites for new thoughtfully designed modern homes that offer luxury finishes, off-street parking, finished basements, and convenient highway access. The homesites are located less than two miles east of the Country Club Plaza, Whole Foods, and Nelson Atkins Museum.

“This quiet and historic community offers so much in terms of location, convenience, and sough-after urban living near the Plaza.  When you couple that with unique modern luxury homes, it’s truly the Plaza without the price tagSaid Angie Beerup, Co-owner.

Elevate Design + Build Launches Urban Redevelopment Project

Sean Flandermeyer, Co-owner, noted “It was important to us to meet with the current residents, neighborhood leaders, and the Manheim Park Association to ensure the redevelopment project was in line with their vision for the community and to gain their input into the project details. We found a great group of people who are engaged in their community and embraced the redevelopment project. The City of Kansas City has been encouraging and recently invested in the Manheim Park area installing new curbs and street trees.”

“We currently have three modern contemporary floor plans available that offer high ceilings, basement finish packages, garages and/or off-street parking. The homes also include chic outdoor spaces with built-in fire pits, grilling stations, and covered decks perfect for entertaining friends and family. Our intent is to offer luxury urban living that is affordable” said Mike Yancik, Co-Owner.

Because the homes are situated in a federal opportunity zone there are incentives to potential home buyers such as 10-year tax abatement and forgivable down payment assistance up to 4% of the purchase price of the home. There are several special loan programs available through the Missouri Housing Development Council and local lending partners.
