The kiddos will enjoy trips to Union Station to see the trains, visit Science City and gaze at the stars in the Arvin Gottelieb Planetarium. Enjoy the Nelson Atkins Museum or take a stroll through the Kansas City Zoo. The Kansas City Zoo is home to over 1700 animals including penguins and polar bears.
A family trip to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun is a Kansas City summertime must do! The historic River Market is a relaxing way to spend a weekend morning perusing fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade breads, jams, etc.… With so many unique restaurants and interesting things to do and see, the River Market is fun for the family. Date night idea, take in the performing arts at the Kaufman Center in the Arts District followed by late dinner in the Crossroads District.
Couples can spend a weekend exploring the Crossroads District, or head to 18th & Vine to take in our rich jazz history and listen to live Jazz into the wee hours. During Baseball season, take in a Royals game. During the fall and winter seasons you can’t be in Kansas City and not be a Chiefs fan. Head to a game, do some tailgating and watch our Chiefs destroy their opponents. Don’t forget to bring your ear plugs, we are the loudest stadium in the Nation.

Grinder’s Pizza – Located in the Crossroad District Grinder’s offers some of KC’s best pizza and concerts outside in the backyard!
Pierpont’s at Union Station – a repeat Wine Spectator award winner, Pierpont’s at Union Station is upscale dining at it’s finest.
