Chad Smith Promoted to Director of Purchasing and Pre-Construction

Elevate Design + Build, a top-ranked, family-owned home building company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chad Smith to the position of Director of Purchasing and Pre-Construction. In this new role, Chad will manage and grow the purchasing team and internal pre-construction operations of the company.

Chad joined Elevate Design + Build in October of 2022 and has consistently demonstrated excellent leadership and has integrated solid systems and process into the pre-construction operations making them more efficient and accurate. He previously held the position of Operations Manager, where he was instrumental in using data driven decisions to increase accuracy and decrease pre-construction timelines.

“Chad began his career at Elevate Design + Build in Purchasing as an Estimator. He quickly identified processes and procedures that could help smooth out the pre-construction piece to new home construction,” cited Sean Flandermeyer, Owner. “In his role he will lead the internal team responsible for the architectural, permitting, and purchasing operations. His kind and witty nature makes him a great fit in his new role at Elevate as a leader within our company.”

“Chad has been an integral part of Elevate Design + Build since joining our team in 2022 as Construction Estimator. His leadership skills quickly led him to being promoted to Operating Manager to oversee pre-construction tasks and to ensure a seamless process to excavation,” said Heather Flandermeyer, Owner. “It was obvious that Chad was a natural fit for the Director of Purchasing role. His estimator skills, industry experience, and leadership will further develop our Purchasing Department.”

Chad holds a Bachelor of Literature Degree from Ozark Christian College. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chad enjoys spending time with his family (especially his wife and new granddaughter), riding with the Elevate Cycling Team, and playing bass guitar in various bands.
